Really cool atmosphere and conveniently located at the Shops. High quality Southern/Cajun food. Especially enjoyed the biscuits and pot pie. Fried chicken was a bit lacking, slightly tough on the inside and batter wasn't that tasty. Great service and enjoyed sitting outdoors.

It’s the kind of place where you instantly know you’re in for something special and are at home. The service was nothing short of exceptional. Manager Kai greeted us with genuine warmth and a contagious enthusiasm for the restaurant. He came to our table frequently with a friendly demeanor and truly engaging conversations elevated the experience, making us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. The waitstaff, attentive without being intrusive, ensured every need was met with a smile. The menu, curated by Executive Chef Sal Diaz Barriga and his talented crew, was a love letter to Southern cuisine with a contemporary twist. The options catered to every palate, from classic comfort dishes to inventive creations for adventurous eaters. Each plate was a work of art—vibrant, meticulously plated, and bursting with the freshness of high-quality ingredients. The beet salad, pictured below, looked great and tasted even better. The biscuits are to...die...for!!!! The biscuits come with home made butter, home made preserves, and local honey. WOW!!!!!! For the meal, we had the ribeye, filet mignon, and halibut were prepared to perfection. For the sides we shar. ed the grits and broccolini. OH MAN! Even the pickiest eaters in our group found something to rave about. The bar deserves its own applause, boasting an extensive and superb selection of bourbons that could satisfy any connoisseur. You must have an old fashion and/or honey badger drink. Savor a perfectly crafted bourbon cocktail which pairs beautifully with the meal. It adds to the evening’s indulgence! Every bite, sip, and moment at Fixed Southern House was addicting—aptly named, as it left me craving my next “fix.” Chef Sal and his team have created something truly remarkable, and Kai’s hospitality sealed the deal. I’m already counting down the days until I return. This is Southern dining at its finest. BTW, have some of the home made hot sauce! I’ll be back—again and again!

Came here for dinner and breakfast. Both times were absolutely amazing! The service is top-notch! They have made to order biscuits and a cinnamon roll that area a must! I highly recommend checking this place out, and we definitely will be back!

I felt like we were forgotten by the waitress. This is the second time we had been to the restaurant and they were busy at first but then really thin out. The food was excellent though the crab and bacon dip amazing as was the lobster and Crawfish Pot Pie. It was a great place to have brunch on my birthday!

I had a Real Estate meeting here today and we had a lunch and learn with a limited menu. I had the Polo Frito Loco biscuit. It was a very nice sized fried chicken thigh, medium spicy. When we first sat down they had plates of biscuits with butter, honey and strawberry preserves... delicious Would love to go back for a lunch sometime and try it again.

Absolutely Incredible Experience at Fixe Southern House! From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, blending upscale Southern charm with a cozy, welcoming feel. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was our server—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food. They guided us through the menu with expert recommendations and made sure every detail of our meal was perfect. Now, the food—simply phenomenal! We started with the deviled eggs, which had the perfect balance of creamy richness and a little kick of spice. The buttermilk biscuits were out of this world—flaky, buttery, and served with the most divine honey butter and jam. For the main course, the fried chicken was hands down some of the best we’ve ever had—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The shrimp and grits were equally impressive, with perfectly cooked shrimp and grits that were creamy and full of depth. The drinks were just as impressive—crafted cocktails that complemented the meal beautifully. And to finish, the banana pudding was the perfect Southern dessert, with layers of creamy goodness and just the right amount of sweetness. Overall, Fixe Southern House delivers on every level—outstanding food, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay and savor every bite. We’ll definitely be back soon! Can’t recommend this place enough. Service was awesome from the moment we walked in. Our server was friendly, informative and efficient. We went for brunch and got the biscuits as an appetizer. Best in Fort Worth, hands down. The Bloody Mary was so good, we ended up buying a bottle of the in-house hot sauce before we left. The etoufee had a healthy amount of crawfish in it and my sausage, egg and cheese biscuit was delicious. We will definitely come back.
